Let's see how I like it

My birthday

Was yesterday.

Boring story 1.

On the same date my car was stuck in a snow that’s about 16 inches deep… Definitely getting a snow tire set on next snowstorm.

All-wheel drive means jack shit when you have a summer performance tire equipped …

Boring story 2.

On 2/18/10 I was going to Pathmark down route 1 and was approaching traffic jam around  50 mph speed.

Black SUV that was in front of me swerved into shoulder and proceeded to move at 30 mph speed.

Thinking that black SUV is also headed to Pathmark I followed its lead

for about half mile.

As soon as that black SUV approached a traffic light, I saw a blue and red light started to blink in the car.

That’s when I realized it wasn’t a regular car going to Pathmark…

With a glaring red and blue lights the car proceeded to cut in front of all the traffic and disappeared into middle of intersection.

Surprised, I drove into nearest shopping mall before the intersection and bought some soap..

Boring story 3.

About 3 days ago from the date of this post, I tagged along with my friend who is going to say ‘happy new year’ to his father’s friend.

Also we were going to check out some Chinese grocery store, at the time I didn’t quite get it.

His father’s friend worked in this grocery store at the food court.

So… tagging along friend -> happy new year -> free food!

He gave us a, duck leg, vegetable?, white rice and coke.

The vegetable looked like a cabbage and whatever they did to it made it really delicious.

Oh and duck was awesome too.

By the time I thought about taking photos of it, all was gone but the bones.

So, maybe I’ll go get some more to take picture… err yeah

/end of boring stories

I would like to count today(19th) as a generally pretty good day,

aside from the fact that I missed classes and wasted almost 4 hours driving around with no result.

If I start clinging onto every single bad days and mistakes,

I probably wouldn’t have a single minute for myself to enjoy.

So I’m leaving all of it here.

/RANT/

Filed under: Uncategorized — zsunsun @ 4:22 PM

This is gonna be boring as heck rant written by depressingly bad story teller, me, so umm don’t try to read unless you are really bored..

Recently I’ve been getting a phone call from so called ‘debt collector’ about hospital bill.

It feels uneasy to find out that no one ever tried to contact me about outstanding bill until debt collector decided to call me.

Last summer, or spring, I went to ER to get my eyes check out due to some black spot in my vision.

It was covered by insurance since I was a student and working within Rutgers.

Being the first time ever dealing with hospital bill and insurance whatnot, I did not notice anything wrong when there was no bill even after many months later.

I simply “assumed” that it was taken care of, until last week.

First I got a call from Cooper hospital regarding my bill, it was a nice gentleman explaining the consequences if it is not settled soon.

He described that currently the bill is still within the hospital and seems to understand the situation.

So, I got a new invoice from him, gave it to the insurance department and everyone was happy.

Nope, not quite yet. It turned out there was two parties that claimed themselves as ‘debt collection agency’.

First phone call from second ‘debt collector’ appeared little odd to me.

When I answered the call, there was about 20 second pause before the generic recorded message something like “This call is an attempt to collect debt please dial….”

So I called them and let them know I received a call from this number. And they proceeded to ask me to many a payment of 93 dollars and some cents.

I asked them for an invoice and a few more detail and found out

“Soll Eye PC, date of service April 30″

I said thanks and proceeded to call this ‘Soll eye PC’ company and I just got off a phone call with their billing department confirming that service I had on April 30th was already paid by the insurance.

But the process of finding out was a pain.

The billing department seems to be ran by agitated ~17 years old girl who does not seem have a mental capability to understand and answer “do I have any unpaid bill?”

Also she had a problem with waiting until I was done speaking, as soon as I say “So, you don’t ha-” she cuts in and proceed to mumble something loud.

I managed to say “debt collector mentioned I have a bill of 93 dollars and some cent from date of service April 30th 09″ and her response is “older bills do not show up in our system and you had a bill on four-thirty-o-nine that’s been paid”

I responded to clarify, “There’s no outstanding bill on your system then?”

When I was in middle of speaking “outstanding” she started speaking and I do not know what she was trying to say since we both were speaking.

Similar things repeated about three times after first encounter and I just gave up.

One more reason to stay away from females added to the list.
