slowdown bottlenecked by read/write speed of my harddrive.

My quad core cpu (Q6600 still kicking) had no problem crunching batch process that I setup in Photoshop, showing less than 50% CPU utilization

overall, but my hard drive was dying trying to read and write as fast as it can,  producing quite a noise in the process.

So, if I had a SSD drive I wouldn’t have to wait for batch to be done.

Random read and write speed of my archaic drive is somewhere near 20ms I believe and since SSD’s random read is next to nothing

bottleneck would be gone and I could have utilized full quad core goodness.

But.. Oh well, maybe next time when I will be working with Photoshop I will have SSD in my computer.

ps.  this is a rough draft… it’s 3:00AM in the morning here and I’m not going to proofread this, I’ve got enough headache to worry about.

Upon searching my website on Google I, quickly realized that SEO is not working at all,

I was getting ugly addresses like – ‘bluesunhobbies.com/productid=48′

instead of nice and neat address of – ‘bluesunhobbies.com/Team_Magic_G4_Adjustment_Washer_Set_504013′

I found out that product SEO keyword box for an every product was empty!

Of course I can’t manually edit through all data, instead I downloaded CSV file from phpMyAdmin and edited with Microsoft Excel.

While I was at it I added categories and brand name to the SEO keyword and uploaded to the server again.

And without a single trouble, my website is now fully optimized for search engine!

*SEO = Search Engine Optimization.

This website is, at the moment, dedicated on selling Team Magic racing parts mainly 10th scale nitro touring.

Though website is working, I still have a few problems and one of them are to make my website show up on Google search.

One of my friend informed me that I need to build a network of links online and that will naturally lead Googlebot to crawl my website.

So, I’m putting a link on my blog, the one that you are reading right now, but since this blog is not indexed as well I don’t know how effective that can be.

Well, at least I can have satisfaction that I have done something though not perfect…

Also I’ve sent few emails to Team Magic at Taiwan but it seems like my emails are being thrown into spam folder on their side…

No response from them for 2 days and counting is not a good sign at all.

I will be trying all I can while I can.

I’m getting little tired of resistive screen as they require pressure to operate..

I’m not sure what she had in her mind, but she promptly started to giving some trouble to employees there..

She proceeded to order a fries but refused to say what size she wants until a good 30 seconds were wasted in figuring out what she wants..

After she’s done wasting everyone’s time I placed an order and started to read my assignment packet while waiting for my meal.

In the middle of reading, I heard an agitated voice of an employee talking to girl if she wanted ketchup and some sauce.

She did not respond for 30 seconds.  Though when employee asked, each time she vibrated? her body in response I believe..

At about fifth time the question’s asked she finally answered in annoyed tone

“Yes, I’ve been say’n yes the whole time”

I could see that his face (employee’s) is saying ‘I want to smack this B’s face’ and I believe everyone there did too.

And so I went back to reading my packet and not before minute’s of time is past,

I could hear frustrated woman’s voice who seems to be a manager.

(to employee who dealt with teenager)”you know you gave her a wrong order right?”

When I took my eyes off my packet I could see that teenager was about meter away from the exit..

In the process of getting her the correct order, teenager girl promptly started to complain in the most annoying

voice you can possibly imagine.

“Why I’m getting yelled at when you made the mistake!”

I couldn’t find anyone yelling beside her, but I’m sure she believes otherwise.

Now here’s the kicker

I went to school computer lab to work on take-home-exam in a pouring rain and it was closed.

In the midst of doing homework Leon (current roommate) called and asked me to open door.
